A Personal Insight Of My Own, Previous Struggles with relationships
“I grew up with a violent older brother, a dad who was emotionally unavailable, a mum who was a serial people pleaser & passive aggressive and found myself in an abusive relationship in my own family home at the tender age of 14. At 15 I took an overdose of Paracetamol as a cry for help. I took recreational drugs for 20 years but gave up at 32 (16 years ago) and alway’s struggled with romance!
It was only until I experienced a spiritual awakening (8 years ago) and I was told very specifically by spirit to heal, so I could help others, that i started to look inwards at myself and my past traumas. I looked at and felt EVERYTHING and have taken my own powerful steps to change my own unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviours by working with my own central nervous system, reparenting myself, created new neural pathways and used self enquiry work to look at my own limiting beliefs that create my own reality and this work goes on. It’s a lifestyle that has to be embraced if we want to see and be a part of positive change. It all starts with us! Hence the name “Consciously Loving Me” we must learn all ways to love and honour ourselves if we want to see that reflected in our reality when creating the relationships we desire.”

Have you heard of “Attachment Theory” & “Co-Dependency”? Learning about these things really helped me to understand what was going on inside of myself and many others. If we have developed attachment issues, it’s likely we’ll attract other people with similar issues. We tend to operate from survival (fear based behaviours). This is what plays a big part in the struggles we face when it comes to romantic relationships and how we navigate them and sometimes sabotage them. However whilst an understanding of these personality types we may have adapted is amazing, we also have to learn how to navigate them inside of ourselves by going back to previous traumas, feeling our feelings and reparenting ourselves and questioning the untrue beliefs we gave to ourselves about the situation, the other people involved and OURSELVES so we can to relate in different, more secure ways & help co-create healthier dynamics with other people.
A person who’s emotional and physical needs were met as an infant have connection and belonging woven through the fibre of their being, creating secure attachment. If our need’s weren’t met by our caregivers then we will have guilt and shame due to internalised, untrue beliefs, about ourselves woven through the fibre of our being and these will constantly be triggered by those around us, provoking behaviours of sabotage IF we aren’t able to relate to younger parts of ourselves with the love, understanding and compassion we so deserve & desire from the outside.
It all starts from within and how we navigate our relationship to ourselves!

Our Lost Inner Voice
Some of us were so taught to ignore our own intuition & mental & physical health.
Suppressing feelings and emotional needs is what causes so much turmoil inside because our body just want’s us to take notice, listen and act but this is a new language we have to teach ourselves to start to create harmony.
We have to work out who is really under all that suppression and get radically honest, which can bring up a real sense of fear. But i can show you how to come back HOME to YOU create more peace within, balance & stability, so that can get reflected back to us outside of ourselves.
Our reality is a reflection of our own internal world.
Our worthiness is not determined by anything outside of ourselves but if we have an insecure attachment we will make situations that happen outside of ourselves mean something about us & therefore believe our value goes up or down dependant on how others feel about us. In times of trauma we give ourselves untrue beliefs about ourselves that are constantly reinforced in our reality because we unconsciously seek out events and make them fit whatever untrue belief it is we have running about ourselves, reaffirming our sense of unworthiness. But our reality has no built in meaning. Only the meaning we give it. Our worthiness has the potential to be embodied through the inner work & a strong connection to our own truth and having complete faith in ourselves that everything is happening exactly as it should do and the more we lean into this understanding & the work, the more we’ll seek out situations that affirm how worthy we are and always have been. It can be like pure MAGIC and feel so deliciously good!
You just have to get reacquainted with YOURSELF in a new way.
